Performance Test of Medical and Asbestos Negative Pressure Instrument
Negative pressure instruments at industrial and medical sites maintain indoor pressure at negative pressure to block the outflow of harmful substances such as indoor viruses (corona, SARS, Mers, etc.) and asbestos.
HEPA filter (HEPA Filter) is installed in the negative pressure instruments to prevent the leakage of such pollutants and its stability must be guaranteed through performance tests accordingly.
1. HEPA filter Test
When tested with fine aerosol (DOP, PAO, etc.) particles of 0.3 μm size, the removal efficiency shall be 99.97% or higher.
When tested with fine aerosol (DOP, PAO, etc.) particles, the removal efficiency at the rated flow rate shall be 99.95% or higher.
Medical facilities equipped with negative pressure shall have a differential pressure not less than -2.5 Pa between internal and external pressures
